Las Velas Mexican Restaurant is located in historic Market Square in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh where we serve lunch and dinner from a menu of your favorite Mexican dishes, and some that will become your new favorites, with recipes inspired by Mexico City and the Riviera Maya.

The Las Velas menu is full of your traditional favorite Mexican foods such as burritos stuffed with fresh ingredients, smothered enchiladas, tacos of every type (but don’t ask for a hard shell here; we’re all about serving you the kind of food you’d find south of the border), fresh seafood, delectable appetizers, and plenty of vegetarian options. Our child’s menu is full of options for the younger palate.

Monday - Thursday: 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., bar open late
Friday - Saturday: 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., bar open late
Sunday: 12:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Happy Hour: Monday to Friday, 5 - 7 p.m.

I ate here the other day. Wonderful view of market square if you request a window seat. Liked the queso appetizer but could have been a lil better quality cheese.
