Every year, over 70,000 people between the ages of 15 to 39 will be diagnosed with cancer. Adolescents and young adults with cancer are the only age group whose survival rates have not improved in the past 30 years. They have the lowest rates of clinical trial enrollment and often struggle to find the care they need.
Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC has been a national leader in Adolescent and Young Adult Oncology issues, combining unparalleled treatment options with a comprehensive approach to care that addresses the physical, psychological, and emotional needs of adolescents and young adults diagnosed with cancer.
We need your support to continue this top-notch clinical care!
Attend the CureRock benefit concert hosted by Cindy Howes, host of the Morning Mix on WYEP.
Featured Bands include: Donora, Meeting of Important People, New Victorians, and The Color Fleet
Each band will play a full set, but before, between, and after each act, guests are encouraged to explore the pavilion level of Stage AE to learn more about AYA oncology. The event will also include a raffle with several items donated by Pittsburgh-area businesses and athletic teams.
